The Gadugi Partnership would like to announce that we recently partnered with American Forests to plant a tree in memory of former Gadugi scholar Anthony Toineeta. American Forests work in partnership with local organizations in an effort to restore areas that are in greatest need. They planted Anthony's tree in a part of the Central Oregon Fire Scar Reforestation project. For this project, 900,000 trees--including Anthony's--were planted to replenish the forest after fire damage.
